Hello, I'm Sami!

I'm the owner and photographer of Sami Baur Photography, located in Cincinnati, Ohio! I am a full time mom to four beautiful children Hailey, Eleanor, Liam, and Matthew. I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Willie, since May 27, 2017. I also have a fur baby named Lylah along with a Bearded Dragon named Hunter!

When I'm not out photographing my amazing clients, I am enjoying time with my family.

I remember as a kid always having an interest in photography and just wanting to capture EVERYTHING! Any chance I was able to, I would get a disposable camera and go out to take pictures! I still remember that feeling of excitement to see the final photos once the film was developed. This led me to taking photography in high school and that's where I realized just how much I loved photography. Starting with film and developing all of my own images in the darkroom was an incredible way to learn more of the ins and outs of the art of photography. Any free time I had, you would probably find me in the dark room doing what I loved. After high school I decided to pursue this passion I found and I graduated with my degree in Photography in 2012. Following graduation I was a preschool teacher for almost 6 years before I became a stay at home mom and decided to pursue my love for photography. Still to this day I get that feeling of excitement with each and every session. That's how I know that this is what I was meant to do.
